Paint refinishing & colour matching in Scarborough
Primer, colour and clearcoat laid down panel by panel so the repair disappears into the rest of the car.
Paint work we do
A good paint repair is one nobody notices. We match the colour to your car as it is today, not just the factory code, and blend into the panels around the repair so the finish looks even in every light.
Whether it is one scratched door or a full refinish, the surface is prepped, primed, painted and cleared in our booth.

From bare panel to gloss
Every refinish follows the same four stages.
Prep
Damaged paint is sanded back, dents are corrected and the surface is cleaned so the new finish has something solid to bond to.
Prime
Primer seals the repair and gives an even base, so nothing from underneath shows through the colour.
Colour
Colour is matched to your car and blended into the neighbouring panels.
Clear
Clearcoat brings back the gloss and protects the colour underneath.
Paint questions
Will the new paint match the rest of my car?
That is the goal on every job. We match to the current colour of your car and blend the new paint into the surrounding panels so there is no hard line between old and new.
Can you fix peeling or faded clearcoat?
Yes. Failing clearcoat is sanded back and the panel is refinished. Come in for an estimate and we will tell you whether it needs a single panel or more.
How do I care for new paint?
Hand-wash gently for the first few weeks and skip waxing until the finish has fully cured. We will give you specific advice when you pick up the car.
